We are currently seeking a Senior Industry Engineer (Head of Operation Department) to lead and optimize our manufacturing and production efficiency. This role will be instrumental in driving operational improvements, maximizing resource utilization, and implementing advanced industrial engineering strategies to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess production workflows, facility layouts, and equipment efficiency to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Conduct data-driven evaluations of personnel, equipment, materials, and facility usage, recommending strategies for maximum productivity and minimal waste.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, simulation modelling, and AI-driven analytics to enhance manufacturing efficiency, predictive maintenance, and process automation.
• Develop and optimize production line configurations, automation integration, and energy-efficient systems to improve overall throughput and sustainability.
• Lead the adoption of AI, IoT, and machine learning technologies in production planning, predictive maintenance, and real-time analytics for data-driven decision-making.
• Develop cost-saving initiatives through workflow standardization, material flow optimization, and technology-driven process improvements.
• Ensure all engineering and operational processes comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS/NZS standards, and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Work closely with R&D, supply chain, and production teams to integrate new technologies, improve product lifecycle efficiency, and optimize operational performance.
• Design and implement eco-friendly production methodologies that align with international best practices in sustainable manufacturing.
• Provide executive-level insights and operational strategies, ensuring Unison Solar Energy remains at the forefront of innovation in solar manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial process optimization, advanced manufacturing systems, and operational strategy.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, industrial automation, and AI-driven operational improvements.
• Strong background in process engineering, simulation modelling, and facility layout optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement large-scale process improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making, problem-solving, and cost reduction.
• Experience working in high-tech solar energy, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
