Are you an experienced Diesel & Hydraulic Fitter looking to work with a premium hydraulic and diesel fitting company? At Payne Diesel Services, we specialize in the overhaul of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and power units, as well as engine repowers and rebuilds. We are proud dealers for Deutz and Off-Highway Mercedes engines, servicing a range of industries, including mining, agriculture and heavy machinery.

What You'll Be Doing:

Overhauling hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and power units in our fully equipped workshop.
Field service & breakdowns—working on mining sites and other off-site locations as needed.
Hot work & welding—oxy-acetylene cutting and fabrication as required.
Engine repowers and overhauls—working with Deutz and Off-Highway Mercedes engines.
Hydraulic system repairs & diagnostics—troubleshooting complex systems and hose repairs.

What We’re Looking For:

Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter / Hydraulic Fitter (or equivalent experience).
Experience with hydraulic systems, cylinders, and pumps.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently on breakdowns and on-site mine work.
Experience with Deutz and Off-Highway Mercedes engines (preferred but not essential).
Welding & fabrication experience (advantageous).
A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Mine site experience and relevant tickets are highly regarded.
