About the Role

Your responsibilities will include contributing innovative ideas, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

• Provide clear directions and set goals aligned with company objectives.
• Lead by example, demonstrating accountability and adaptability.

Team Management & Development

• Oversee team performance, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Ensure a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
• Drive initiatives to improve product performance, scalability, and user experience.

Project Management

• Prioritise tasks and delegate responsibilities efficiently.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met.
• Identify and remove roadblocks to keep projects on track.

Communication & Collaboration

• Ensure seamless communication between teams
• Advocate for team needs while aligning with company priorities.
• Support and inspire team members by fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive high performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product and Customer Success, to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Product & Customer Focus

• Ensure that team efforts align with customer requirements and business objectives
• Stay updated on industry trends and SaaS best practices.
• Drive initiatives to improve product performance, scalability, and user experience.

Performance Monitoring & Optimisation

• Collaborate with leadership to refine strategies and align performance goals with business objectives.
• Work closely with leadership to provide insights and recommendations for scaling operations and enhancing business performance.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery by monitoring customer feedback, service level agreements (SLAs), and user satisfaction metrics.
• Identify challenges and inefficiencies across teams, implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and scalability.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and strategic thinking to foster team success and drive business growth.

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a Team Leader role
• Expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of scalable database design and optimisation using MongoDB.
• DevOps knowledge, and experience (GCP is highly desirable).
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (MeteorJS experience is particularly valuable).
• Success mentoring and guiding squads of developers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to align technical solutions with business needs.
• SCRUM experience favourable
• A passion for delivering results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Transport or Supply chain industry experience is preferred but not required.
