The Package: $1,184.91 - $1,309.36 gross per week + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 5 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.
Full-time – 38 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.
Are you looking to make a splash in the world of aquatics, and facilitate a safe and enjoyable pool experience for your local community? Council is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for community safety to join the QPRC Aquatics team.
In this role you will:
- Supervise guests to ensure safe use of the facility and provide emergency assistance if required.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the facilities.
- Provide quality customer service and advice to guests.
- Undertake daily chemical filtration and plant operation equipment testing to comply with NSW Health Department Regulations for Public Swimming Pools
We are looking for someone who:
- Has obtained their Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, Advanced First Aid Certificate and current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Previous work experience in a similar role and environment.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and care.
- Great time management skills, to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
