About the role

Reporting to Senior Team Leader Operations, as the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Coordinator is responsible for the administrative requirements of the apprenticeship and traineeship cohorts at TAFE Gippsland. This involves but not limited to the timely management of Epsilon reports, providing advice, training and administrative support to internal stakeholders to ensure they meet legislative requirements and being a key contact for industry, employers and external support networks. The Apprenticeship and Traineeship Coordinator will work closely with educational delivery and Student Experience teams to deliver a positive student experience that meets all legislative and TAFE Gippsland requirements.

Qualifications and experience

  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent plus demonstrated relevant experience at a high level or significant 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in an educational setting with an understanding of industry engagement programs (desirable)
  • Knowledge and experience in industry related to areas of responsibility regarding to Apprenticeships and Traineeships
  • Experience in implementing systems and processes that lead to continuous improvement

Mandatory requirements

  • Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
  • Current Police Check (not older than 12 months old)
  • Current Driver’s Licence (travel between campuses is a requirement of the role)
  • 6 months probationary period applies to these roles
