Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business and System Analyst to analyse and improve business processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and assist with system and technical solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of computer science principles applied to life sciences research and laboratory operations.
Key Duties:
- Conduct analysis of current-state business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with process owners to develop future-state process maps.
- Work with developers to codify future-state processes and workflows, focusing on automation and system integration.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of implemented processes.
- Elicit and document business requirements and problem statements from stakeholders.
- Work with product owners and development teams to prioritise, design, and operationalise high-value features.
- Assist in the creation of business cases, financial planning, and impact analysis.
- Provide innovative advice on proposed changes to diagnostics IT systems and assess their impact.
- Develop and deliver training documents and business documentation, such as work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Review and maintain system and data architecture documentation.
- Collaborate with system and data owners to verify or update existing data flows and interfaces.
- Ensure technical solutions align with business requirements, participating in the design process as needed.
To be Successful, You Will Have:
- Proven experience in business and system analysis.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow optimisation, and system integration.
- Excellent communication skills to document and present complex information.
