GT HOSES are on the look out for another EXPERIENCED HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN to join the team on a full-time basis.

We have filled one position recently and are looking for another energetic member to complete the team.

We’re based in EMERALD QLD and are well established in our community. We are a diverse business and are able to provide flexible start times and rosters for LOCAL, DIDO or FIFO workers.

Skills & Attributes:

• Previous experience in hydraulic hose fitting / assembly
• Cylinder service / rebuild or willing to learn
• Lubrication service / rebuild or willing to learn
• A hard worker who likes getting their hands dirty and sometimes the whole body
• Enjoys a great variety in their work & intricate details
• Experience liaising with customers and suppliers
• Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation & problem-solving skills
• An MR Licence or ability to get one
• Ability to think outside the box to exceed customer expectations

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service and support to our customers across several sites and industries in the region
• Manufacturing of hoses and supply of parts on-site and in our fully equipped workshop as well as consultation about upcoming hydraulic work
• Build and maintain customer relationships for ongoing business development
• Sourcing and providing parts and orders to meet tight deadlines
• Diagnostic and breakdown support, including after hours and participating in an “on call” roster
• Work autonomously and complete given tasks in a timely manner
• Ensure accurate data entry and record keeping in your day-to-day duties, including producing accurate paperwork
• Demonstrate a basic level of computer skills
• Be a good example to colleagues and customers through your professional demeanour and dedicated work ethic
