We are looking for a relief school crossing supervisor who is able to cover school crossings in Meredith, Lethbridge, Bannockburn, Teesdale and Inverleigh when our current staff are on leave or unwell. Locals interested in providing a service to the community and ensuring the safety of children crossing when crossing to their schools are encouraged to apply. Shifts fall between the school zones hours during the school term, Monday to Friday.

Becoming a School Crossing Supervisor is a great way to earn additional income without making great compromises on your time. You'll become vital to the safety of our kids, parents and teachers, and be an important second pair of eyes for local motorists. The role is held in very high esteem in our communities and touches the lives of families everywhere.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Passion and commitment to the safety of children, parents, teachers and the broader community
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Basic writing skills
  • Knowledge of road laws
  • Appropriate levels of hearing, eyesight and mobility
  • Valid Drivers Licence and own vehicle to travel to sites
