Chief Exam Supervisor

Chief supervisors have overall responsibility for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments, as set out in the VCE Examination Manual and any additional instructions provided by the VCAA and Melbourne High School.

Role description:

• to oversee, manage (with school staff) and facilitate the VCAA exams at Melbourne High School, according to the rules and policies of VCAA
• carry out a range of responsibilities including specific tasks listed for both chief supervisors and all supervisors in the VCE Examination Manual
• work as part of a team with school staff

This role has eligibility requirements which apply. Chief supervisors cannot be any of the following:

• related to, or associated with, any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2025
• teaching or tutoring any student required to sit the GAT or any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2025
• related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students required to sit the GAT or any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2025, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment materials on behalf of a school in 2025
• employed as a teacher, casual relief teacher or a member of the administration staff
