Happy Sprouts Early Learning, privately owned and operated is seeking an experienced and passionate Educators to join our purpose-built brand-new centre located in Craigieburn!

Our Educators main role is to ensure the service is providing, high-quality education and care for the children and families. As part of our team, you will be responsible for implementing a play-based learning program while maintaining health and safety at the highest level of the children in care.

We are looking for an Educator who:

• Is genuinely willing and motivated to work with children
• Has a vibrant energy and is an uplifting team player
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
• Create inclusive, professional, and positive relationships with children and families
• Be able to explore new ideas with children by implementing an inquiry and research based curriculum
• Experience is a must
• Is able to take initiative to create a friendly, secure and stimulating learning environment as per child interest
• Is able to contribute ideas for planning and programming
• Maintain a very high level of hygiene and cleanliness in the room
• Have strong time management, organizational skills and flexible
• Is self-motivated on self-learning, researching and believes in the professional growth of you
• Is willing to participate in staff meetings, staff training, team building activities and staff functions

What you’ll need:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Available to work rotating shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm
• Monthly Rotating Roster
• Sound understanding of the; Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Victorian Child Safe Standards and Child Protection, Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Current Working with Children Check and a Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
