We currently have the opportunity for a Property Officer to join our Infrastructure and Liveability Department.
In the role of Property Officer you will:
- Provide professional assistance to the Manager Property and Recreation as directed on property related functions
- Coordinate and manage the administration of Council’s property portfolio
- Undertake tasks associated with Footpath Dining, Section 139 Street Vending and Commercial Fitness Trainers’ consents
- Assist the Manager Property and Recreation and Property Coordinator with property related projects across the portfolio
- Provide property related advice and services across Council and to customers.
What we offer...
- Permanent full-time role, 35 hours per week
- Commencing annual salary from $70,905.12 to $78,172.64
(salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience) - Progressive annual salary up to $86,185.84
- Plus 11.5 % superannuation

What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Experience providing a high level of administrative support including the preparation of reports and maintenance of essential registers
- Experience managing property related activities
- Experience in Local Government
- Experience in engaging and liaising with solicitors, valuers, land/property professionals, consultants and customers
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A minimum Class C Driver’s Licence.
