Customer Service Officer

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our busy and dynamic team in Dingley (Melbourne).

About the Role

We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Customer Service Officer to join an existing team, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Central point of contact for Products customers
• Coordinate the shipping and receiving of inbound and outbound goods, including processing preparing shipments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using our warehouse management system
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service team to address any shipping-related inquiries or issues
• General administration, inclusive but not limited to raising purchase and sales order, generating, compiling and running reports and invoicing.
• Responding to all communications to ensure customer SLAs are met, as well as maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Creating strong relationships with sales team, warehouse teams and key customers to understand their needs and issues.
• Answering phone calls and business emails
• Assist with a wide support team in delivering business functions to properly serve customer expectations.
• Performing support administration functions in a timely and efficient manner to meet the expectations of the business.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role. Experience in a similar role within the service industry or operations support would be highly advantageous.

About You

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar warehousing or logistics role, preferably in the manufacturing or fire industry
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Proficient in using warehouse management and inventory control systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident (PR)
• Ability to undergo a National Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical
