About the Role:
MSS Security is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Team Leader to join our team at the University of Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about security and leadership. If you have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment, and are eager to take on a supervisory role, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of 8-15 security personnel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to protocols.
• Oversee control room operations, including managing CCTV footage and screens, access control, visitor management, and responding to phone inquiries.
• Maintain effective communication and reporting within the team.
• Utilise strong computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and operational tasks.
• Manage on-site rostering, including addressing absences and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
• Maintain incident reports and documentation.

Skills & Experience:

• Full Australian working rights.
• Valid Victorian Security License with Control Room endorsement.
• Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
• Full Driver's License.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry.
• Strong computer proficiency and accessibility.
