CutGrass has an exciting opportunity to join their team. The company specialises in all aspects of grounds and property maintenance and is an industry leader in irrigation installation and services. We are looking to hire a talented Casual labourer/tradesman to join our business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a loyal and extensive customer base across a broad cross section of businesses. Our contracts include Government, commercial, strata, schools, aged care centres and residential properties in the Sutherland Shire, St George and Sydney regions.

About the Role

The role includes:

• Irrigation repairs, installation and maintenance e.g. trenching, pipe laying etc.
• General gardens maintenance including pruning, mowing, hedging etc.
• Application of herbicides and pesticides
• Site clean up and collection of green waste
• Operation of company vehicles and equipment
• Ability to operated digital work scheduling systems
• Liaison with customers
• Workplace health and safety

The Position does Require

• Good communication skills
• Has customer service skills with the ability to problem solve
• Someone to get their hands dirty
• Class C Driver’s licence
• Ability to work in any and all weather conditions
• A strong work ethic (Hard-working), dependable and punctual
• Self-motivated and can work unsupervised when required

Have or willing to obtain

• White Card Certification
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• ChemCERT card
