Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and solutions-driven Mechanical Engineer to play a vital role in the design, analysis, and testing of advanced thermal management solutions. If you thrive in a high-tech engineering environment and have a passion for precision engineering, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical systems for thermal management applications, from concept to production.
- Conduct analysis and validation of components and systems to ensure performance and compliance requirements are met.
- Participate in commissioning and testing of products, including developing and executing test plans.
- Prepare high-quality technical documentation, including specifications, reports, manuals, and work instructions.
- Provide technical expertise to support sales and business development teams for customer inquiries and tenders.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in defence, manufacturing, or thermal management.
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX, SolidWorks preferred) for mechanical design and drafting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including stress analysis and component tolerance analysis.
- Experience in producing technical documentation such as work instructions, manuals, and engineering reports.
- Familiarity with manufacturing ideologies, preferably in sheet metal and fluid systems design.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain/maintain an Australian Security Clearance.
- Must satisfy police checks and employment screening verification.
