Albury Wodonga Health require Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our dynamic team on Surgical Ward 2. Surgical Ward 2 is a 30 bed unit, specializing in the pre and post operative care of elective (ENT, urology, plastics, general surgical, vascular) and emergency surgery/ trauma patients. Primary responsibilities include General nursing duties, pre and post operative monitoring and observation, IV & CVAD management comprehensive patient assessment, escalation of deterioration, complex wound management and multidisciplinary care planning. Scholarships may be available for relevant postgraduate studies such as acute care certificate & wound management. We are a great team and would love the opportunity to work with you.
- Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrates a person and family centred approach to decision making and care planning activities.
- Ability to work as a team member within a multidisciplinary environment
- Understanding of WHS legislation as it relates to employees' responsibilities
- Experienced Registered Nurse
