Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurse to work in the Cancer and Wellness Centre/Renal Dialysis team at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate clinical competency relating to Haemodialysis and End-stage Renal Failure nursing care
- Conduct comprehensive and systemic nursing assessments
- Act as a role model and resource person for students, graduate nurses and enrolled nurses
- Actively participate in education and training programs
- Plan nursing care in consultation with individuals, groups, significant others
- Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
Qualifications/experience required:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and current practicing certificate
- Able to apply the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC), National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse, ANMC and Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses in Australia
Desirable:
- Experience working in Renal Dialysis nursing, chemotherapy medical day infusion
- Graduate Certificate and or evidence of Renal Nursing Training Modules
- Experience and interest in Oncology Medical Day Unit Nursing highly
