Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurse to work in the Cancer and Wellness Centre/Renal Dialysis team at Echuca Regional Health.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate clinical competency relating to Haemodialysis and End-stage Renal Failure nursing care
• Conduct comprehensive and systemic nursing assessments
• Act as a role model and resource person for students, graduate nurses and enrolled nurses

• Actively participate in education and training programs
• Plan nursing care in consultation with individuals, groups, significant others
• Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice

Qualifications/experience required:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and current practicing certificate
• Able to apply the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC), National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse, ANMC and Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses in Australia

Desirable:

• Experience working in Renal Dialysis nursing, chemotherapy medical day infusion
• Graduate Certificate and or evidence of Renal Nursing Training Modules
• Experience and interest in Oncology Medical Day Unit Nursing highly
