About the opportunity

This important role requires close collaboration with the NSW and QLD Carer Gateway Leaders to identify and support training needs for their teams as well as supporting the development of a respectful, productive and connected culture of belonging. Our Carer Gateway teams work in a unique environment where no two days are the same and we are committed to supporting them in all aspects to be successful within their roles. This role will be able to influence this experience. The position will support the Carer Gateway Training Coordinator to deliver best practice training and workforce development outcomes within Carer Gateway.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Min. Certificate IV Training and Assessment
  • Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field of study - Desirable
  • Experience in high volume operational environments
  • Current valid Driver License
  • Appropriate IT skills
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check
  • NSW Working With Children Check
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • NDIS Code of Conduct
  • Flexibility for at times out of hours activities as required to undertake the requirements of the role
  • Developed training modules for high-performing teams in Contact Centre environments
  • Expertise in evidence-based carer supports and understanding of carer peer workforce
  • Coordinated individualized support for those with caring roles, fostering empowering partnerships
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and multitasking skills with a focus on detail
