You will work closely with a Senior Financial Accountant; she is CA qualified and has excellent experience which she is committed to sharing with you. For example, part of this role will require Payroll processing and if you haven't done this before, she will teach you.

The Senior FA also happens to be a great person who places a huge emphasis on culture and relationships. We really like her as well as her CFO, who you will also interact with on a regular basis, and they both understand the need for work / life balance.

This is a hybrid position. Therefore, you will be able to work 1-day a week from home and you will also have flexibility around start / finish times.

What You'll Do:

You will play a vital role in the accounting team, handling a range of financial responsibilities. This includes tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, financial reporting, and contributing to overall financial management processes. The support you will provide extends to the wider finance team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

You can expect to be involved in:

• Supporting EOFY and EOM processes
• Have a significant input into Financial Reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with FBT and audit preparation
• Process weekly payroll
• Fixed Asset register maintenance
• Credit card reconciliations
• Provide support for AP when required

Who You Are:

You're an exceptional communicator who thrives in a team environment. You can have just started your CA / CPA or be part way through with intention to complete but you must have at least 18 months in an Assistant Accountant position.

This is a position that will provide you with significant development, so you'll be someone with a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to learn.
