Join our client, an Asset Finance specialist on their journey to success! They are on the lookout for a committed individual to be part of their collections team. This role promises growth opportunities within the commercial portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

• High volume commercial collections on accounts in arrears (mid to late-cycle)
• Portfolio arrears management
• Payment negotiation and arrangement
• Account-level relationships with vendors, clients, brokers, solicitors, and other stakeholders
• Entering default listings on Equifax
• Arranging repossession of company assets
• Skip tracing
• Ensure all collection activity is in compliance with the Privacy Act

Necessary Experience:

• Strong commercial collections experience - will consider mercantile, asset finance, or business banking background. Minimum 3 years.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Asset Finance industry in Australia
• Understanding of the legal and asset recovery process
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• Proven negotiation skills
• Understanding of current legislative requirements, Corporations Act, NCCP, PPSA, AML & CTF, and Privacy Act
