We are kickstarting the circular economy. Someone has to be prepared to make the first move. We are already proving the doubters wrong.

RESTORE has brought the old-school milkman back to Australia. We deliver farm-fresh produce in glass bottles to homes and businesses in Sydney. Those bottles are returned, washed and refilled. We source from and support excellent local farmers that are outside the supermarket system. It is a more sustainable and fairer way to shop for groceries.

And we’re growing quickly. Since starting in late 2023, we are on track for 1,000 homes by the end of 2025. Every new week throws up a fresh challenge.

We are looking for a full-time operations coordinator to support our production and delivery teams. The role encompasses analysing customer orders, filling products, creating delivery runs, inventory control and customer service. Your job is to ensure that the company’s operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

This is a hands-on, on-your-feet job where you will work closely with the founder and become the glue between the different parts of the business. We work at a fast pace to fulfill an accelerating number of orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing and collating customer orders to create a production schedule
• Supporting the production team to fulfill products, including operating the filling machine, washing bottles, and preparing labels
• Assigning delivery routes to drivers
• Monitoring inventory levels and arranging restocks with suppliers. Keeping storeroom, cold room and kitchen tidy and ordered
• Resolving customer service issues related to delivery and order changes
• Ensuring that products are handled correctly according to the Food Safety Plan.
• Identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements

Ideal candidate:

• Job experience or studies in operations, logistics, engineering, production or a related field
• Numeracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle logistical challenges
• MS Excel
• Ability to communicate with customers effectively
• Driver’s licence
• Energetic and high stamina to work briskly
• Physical fitness is important. You must be able lift up to 20kg (i.e. a full milk crate) several times a day

This role is based in our Lane Cove facility. Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends or early hours depending on delivery schedules and customer demand.
