Their offices are located in the heart of stunning West Perth, with a short stroll to Kings Park and some great cafés and restaurants close by. The team in West Perth are friendly, fun, and supportive and their staff turnover is low, with several members of staff being there since the beginning. THE OPPORTUNITY
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Bookkeeper to join the firm on a full-time basis. Working with one of their largest clients specialising in security.
As a Senior Bookkeeper your main duties and responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Payroll management including potential indirect taxes (eg payroll tax) reporting
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of BAS & IAS - monthly & quarterly
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts (including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet)
- Assist in processing of year-end adjustments
- Assisting the Accountants as and when required
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping
- Ideally experience working in an Australian public practice firm or bookkeeping firm.
- Excellent ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
- High level of written and verbal communication essential
- Good team player that is capable of working with teams at all levels within the firm
- Highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
