Qualifications & experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in property acquisition and sub-division (prefer off market)
• Related qualification in property, real estate, finance, business or related field
• Proven track record in identifying, assessing and executing successful acquisition opportunities, specifically with off-market/englobo sites.
• Demonstrated ability in conducting market research, feasibility studies and risk assessments when evaluating acquisition prospects
• Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Demonstrated experience negotiating property acquisitions, managing contracts and working within legal, financial and regulatory frameworks to close deal.
• Strong understanding of the property market, including trends, regulations and competition
• Ability to manage multiple acquisition projects simultaneously

Tasks & responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential property acquisition opportunities through market research, feasibility studies and risk assessments
• Develop and present acquisition proposals, including detailed financial analysis.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to address design, approval and delivery risks
• Maintain and update feasibility models, ensuring financial and market factors are accurately reflected in your proposal
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence for acquisition projects, reviewing all legal, financial and regulatory aspects
• Build and maintain industry connections to assist with maintaining a pipeline of acquisition opportunities
• Identify and manage financial risks associated with acquisition projects
