Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in property acquisition and sub-division (prefer off market)
- Related qualification in property, real estate, finance, business or related field
- Proven track record in identifying, assessing and executing successful acquisition opportunities, specifically with off-market/englobo sites.
- Demonstrated ability in conducting market research, feasibility studies and risk assessments when evaluating acquisition prospects
- Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Demonstrated experience negotiating property acquisitions, managing contracts and working within legal, financial and regulatory frameworks to close deal.
- Strong understanding of the property market, including trends, regulations and competition
- Ability to manage multiple acquisition projects simultaneously
Tasks & responsibilities
- Identify and assess potential property acquisition opportunities through market research, feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Develop and present acquisition proposals, including detailed financial analysis.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to address design, approval and delivery risks
- Maintain and update feasibility models, ensuring financial and market factors are accurately reflected in your proposal
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence for acquisition projects, reviewing all legal, financial and regulatory aspects
- Build and maintain industry connections to assist with maintaining a pipeline of acquisition opportunities
- Identify and manage financial risks associated with acquisition projects
