Residential Property Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at O'Donoghues First National Real Estate as a Residential Property Manager. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring landlords and tenants are provided with excellent service and support. This is a full-time role based in our Darwin, NT office.

What you'll be doing

• Effectively managing a portfolio of residential rental properties
• Conducting routine property inspections and coordinating maintenance and repairs
• Handling the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, conducting viewings, and securing new tenants
• Managing rent collection, arrears, and processing of tenant bonds
• Addressing tenant queries and resolving any tenancy issues that arise
• Providing regular updates and reports to landlords
• Ensuring all property management activities comply with relevant legislation and company policies

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a residential property manager, preferably in the Darwin area
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a diverse workload
• Familiarity with relevant property management legislation and regulations
• Proficient in using property management software and technology
• A positive, customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service
