About Us:
We are a dynamic and supportive property management team located in the heart of East Victoria Park, surrounded by local cafés, restaurants, and shops. Our office provides a fun, engaging, and positive work environment, where work-life balance is important, and no weekend work is required.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and efficient rental portfolio, managing approximately 100 residential properties, supported by a friendly assistant, and working with long-term happy owners.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to manage a clean and well-maintained residential portfolio. This role will involve providing a high level of customer service to both tenants and property owners while maintaining the integrity of our properties. You will receive the support you need to excel in this role, including an assistant to assist with day-to-day tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 residential properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide exceptional service to tenants and landlords, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct property inspections, arrange maintenance, and manage lease renewals.
- Prepare and process tenancy agreements, property reports, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Coordinate with the assistant to handle administrative duties and other property management tasks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, owners, and contractors.
- Use office systems and tools to track and manage portfolio activities.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Ideally, 12-24 months of experience as a Property Manager in a residential environment. Open to candidates with other real estate-related experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential property management, including legislation and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to the success of the office.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- C class driver’s license (work vehicle provided).
