About the role

Mister Bianco, a highly acclaimed Italian restaurant in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join their talented culinary team. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional, authentic Italian cuisine to our discerning patrons. This is a full-time position based in our central Melbourne location.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes to the highest standards
• Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene practices
• Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and development
• Participating in the ongoing training and development of junior kitchen staff
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment
• Ensuring timely and efficient service of all menu items

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-quality restaurant
• Formal training in culinary arts or a recognised chef's qualification
• In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences
