As senior development manager, you will be a key member of our projects team, involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage current and proposed residential projects, ensuring delivery within financial parameters and timelines.
• Regularly report to the China head office and directors.
• Lead and manage the construction team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle, from planning and approvals to delivery and construction.
• Coordinate internal resources and manage external consultants to develop project strategies.
• Negotiate with and manage relevant stakeholders and authorities.
• Assist with assessment and feasibility of acquisition opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with an Australian-based construction builder or developer.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, development, and acquisition within the property industry.
• Tertiary education in engineering, construction, project management, or related fields.
• Experience managing mid to high-rise residential projects and end-to-end construction management.
• Knowledge of the Sydney construction market.
• Strong contract negotiation and construction management skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, pre-construction management, and collaboration with in-house project teams.
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of projects, from inception to delivery.
• Residential development and project marketing experience is favourable.
• Strong financial acumen with budget and cost management skills.
• Solid report writing skills; Mandarin preferred.
