About the Role
This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end management of building projects, from pre-design to post-construction. You will coordinate teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project implementation, including design, documentation, contract administration, and construction phases.
- Coordinating project teams, external consultants, and contractors to achieve objectives.
- Leading stakeholder negotiations to deliver value-for-money solutions.
- Ensuring projects meet scope, cost, cash flow, and quality requirements.
- Overseeing contract administration and compliance with quality assurance procedures.
- Mentoring project staff and managing team performance.
To Be Successful
You will need:
- Proven experience in project management within construction or building services.
- Strong contract administration and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of Queensland Government project requirements is an advantage.
