Project Manager - Residential Construction
(Bespoke Multi-Million Dollar Projects)

Pay Rate: $87.50 Per Hour NT + Super & OT (Plus Relevant Site Allowances)
Hours: 40–55 hours per week

Position Overview: TRS Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of high-end residential construction projects, each valued at several million dollars, in the Sorrento area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing bespoke construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Coordination:
• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to develop comprehensive project plans.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Develop detailed construction schedules, setting milestones and deadlines.
• Budget Management
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to maintain profitability.
• Resource Allocation:
• Coordinate labour resources, including subcontractors and onsite personnel.
• Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Quality and Compliance:
• Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resolve issues promptly to minimize the impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Liaise with local authorities to secure necessary permits and coordinate inspections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within the high-end residential construction sector.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering bespoke, multi-million dollar projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Desirable Attributes:

• Familiarity with the Sorrento and broader Mornington Peninsula area, including local building codes and suppliers.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Commitment to sustainability and incorporating environmentally friendly practices into projects.

Working Conditions:

• Based in Sorrento, VIC, with projects primarily within the Mornington Peninsula region.
• Combination of office-based work and onsite project management.
• Availability to address project needs, including occasional weekends or extended hours as required.
