About the Role:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of residential construction projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with project managers, suppliers, and contractors to drive cost-effective solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Duties:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects.
• Analyse blueprints, designs, and specifications to calculate material and labor costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors to identify and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, changes, and project variations.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and project proposals.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and favourable service agreements.

Skills + Experience:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within residential construction or project homes building.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost management.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
