About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive business growth in Port & Vessel Traffic Management Systems (VTMS). This role will focus on identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing tailored solutions to ports, harbours, and maritime authorities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime technology sales, a deep understanding of vessel traffic management, and a proven ability to develop strategic partnerships within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the Port & VTMS sector.
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including port authorities, terminal operators, coastguards, and maritime agencies.
- Present and promote advanced vessel traffic management solutions, including radar systems, AIS, software platforms, and integrated port security solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Work closely with technical teams to provide customized solutions that meet client requirements.
- Stay up to date with maritime regulations, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and tenders for high-value projects.
- Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in maritime technology, vessel traffic services (VTS), port operations, or marine navigation systems.
- Strong technical understanding of VTMS, AIS, radar, and port monitoring solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing business within the maritime industry.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and travel as needed.
- Experience in public tenders and government contracts is a plus.
