About the role

We are seeking an experienced Xero Bookkeeper to join our growing small accounting and bookkeeping firm in Guildford, Western Australia. This is a part-time position, offering flexibility and work-life balance. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and efficient bookkeeping services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

• Managing client accounts on the Xero accounting platform, including processing invoices, reconciling bank feeds, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Preparing and submitting Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other tax-related documents
• Processing of weekly and fortnightly payruns
• Collaborating with the wider accounting team to ensure a seamless and efficient service delivery

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Xero Bookkeeper in an accounting or bookkeeping firm
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in preparing and submitting BAS
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
