About the role

Advanced Myotherapy is seeking a skilled and passionate Remedial Massage Therapist or Myotherapist to join our dynamic team in Yea, VIC. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a supportive, collaborative group of natural health professionals. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality remedial massage and myotherapy treatments to our growing client base.

What you'll be doing

• Providing individualised remedial massage and myotherapy treatments to clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns
• Conducting thorough client consultations to develop personalised treatment plans
• Utilising a range of techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilisation to alleviate pain and improve mobility
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
• Collaborating with other healthcare practitioners to deliver integrated care
• Participating in regular team meetings and professional development activities

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage, Myotherapy, or an equivalent qualification
• Registration with Massage & Myotherapy Australia (MMA) or the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, providing remedial massage or myotherapy treatments OR an excellent can do attitude, willingness to learn with the guidance of an experienced Mentor of over 20 years.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to assess client needs and develop effective treatment plans
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for natural health and wellness
