About the Role:

Based in a beautiful location in Brighton, with an energetic and engaging team, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Myotherapist or Remedial Massage Therapist to take on a long-term ongoing contractor role!

The position is a minimum 2-3 days/week, with an immediate start.

This is an ongoing sub-contractor role and remuneration will be a percentage of fees earnt.

About You:

We are seeking a vibrant and switched on Myotherapist or Remedial Massage Therapist, who has the ability to comfortably perform treatments including deep tissue massage, sports massage, dry needling, cupping, relaxation massage and provide aftercare advice.

The successful candidate will be a reliable, enthusiastic, well-presented, self-motivated team player, with excellent organisational skills and a drive for high performance.

As a truly dedicated practitioner with great energy and passion, you will work with your clients to develop the best treatment plan for them. In addition to these qualities, we are also looking for an individual with whom we can develop a long-term professional relationship with.

To be successful in this amazing role, it is important that you are passionate about delivering a high level of customer service and about making a real difference in our clients’ lives. You are a fun and personable practitioner and have a desire to excel in private practice.

Qualifications and Memberships Required:

• Minimum Diploma of Remedial Massage or Myotherapy, or above.
• Must be able to perform cupping and dry needling.
• Qualify to hold provider numbers with all health funds.
• Association membership (Associate Level).
• Professional Indemnity Insurance ($10 million minimum).
• First Aid.
• ABN.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Available for a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week.
• Well established marketing/sales skills (or the desire to learn) and the drive to continually generate new business.
• Must be collaborative, willing to work in an integrative environment and enjoy working in a multi-modal team. Being a team player is essential.
• Professional presentation and demeanour.
• Ability to use practice management software for writing/uploading client notes.
• Understanding the importance of providing clear, concise and gold standard treatment plans.
• Must have unrestricted rights to live and work in Australia.
• Proven 'ideas' person who is willing to grow with the business.
• Being comfortable with an ever-evolving and growing environment.
• High level attention to detail and demonstrated time management skills.
• This role requires a strong work ethic, the drive to succeed, honesty and reliability, confidence, being open to constructive feedback, the ability to act in a confidential and professional manner at all times, and a fun, friendly and easy-going personality to fit in with our amazing team!
