About the role
We are seeking a Casual Housekeeper to join our team at the Tennant Creek Women's Refuge in Tennant Creek. This is a casual position with flexible hours (25 hours per week), offering the opportunity to work in a supportive environment making a meaningful difference to the lives of women and children in need.

What you'll be doing

• Performing a range of general housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and light maintenance
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the refuge's living areas and common spaces
• Assisting with the preparation and service of meals as required
• Providing a welcoming and caring environment for residents
• Adhering to all organisational policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably in a hospitality or community services setting
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact sensitively with residents
• A positive, empathetic and team-oriented approach
• Flexibility to work a casual schedule
