About the role

Generation Painting Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team in Perth, WA 6000. This full-time role will involve performing high-quality painting and decorating work for residential and commercial properties across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing surfaces for painting, including washing, scraping, sanding, and priming
• Applying paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces
• Mixing and matching paint colours to client specifications
• Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout the project
• Offering advice and suggestions to clients on colour schemes and decorating options
• Maintaining equipment and tools in good working condition
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
• Maintenance work

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a professional Painter & Decorator, preferably in the residential and commercial sectors
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
• An eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
