The Opportunity

We seek a professional Electrician to join our team. Our contracting company is based in Moranbah, Central Queensland, and is looking for a technician with strong communication skills who is confident working independently and as part of a team. The position is permanent and full-time.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your role will involve industrial, mining, commercial and limited domestic electrical work.

Essential Qualifications

• Queensland Trade Licence (or equivalent) & Current Low Voltage Rescue / CPR
• OH&S Construction Card
• Current Drivers Licence

Desirable Qualifications

• High-Risk Work Licence & Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
• Standard 11
• BMA / Stanmore / Whitehaven Mine Inductions

Desirable Technical Knowledge

• Mining Electrical Standards
• Electrical Generators / Lighting Towers
• Satellite / MATV reception systems
• Data / Communications wiring and testing
