Lead a key project for a market-leading organisation dedicated to delivering efficient, smart, and sustainable solutions across Australia. We are seeking a skilled professional to manage a Fleet Planning project to develop a complex heavy vehicle fleet plan. This contract role and project will take approximately 2 months to complete and will encompass nationwide movements across metro, regional and remote areas utilising existing data and information within the business to develop an effective plan aligned with organisations long term strategy.

Responsibilities of the project include:

• Review existing fleet and configuration identifying any shortfalls compared to future needs aligned with strategy.
• Develop a plan of what will need to be replaced and when along with recommendations on suitable to be brought in along with cost benefit analysis against utilising 3rd parties.
• Present your findings along with the appropriate cost models you have developed outlining the overall plan.

To be successful in this position you will need relevant fleet planning experience along with the following skills:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels from frontline to senior managers and directors.
• Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency with MS Excel.
• Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and planning skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously.
