Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (Full-Time)

We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Salon Hairdresser & General Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our talented team of professionals.

Position Overview:

As the Salon Hairdresser & General Manager, you will be responsible for managing both the day-to-day operations of the salon and providing top-tier hairdressing services. This dynamic role requires a combination of strong leadership skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and hands-on experience as a stylist. You will be the go-to person for both our team and clients, ensuring a smooth and seamless operation while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Salon Operations:

- Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.

- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels.

- Handle client bookings and manage the salon’s appointment system.

- Address client concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care.

- Ensure the salon’s cleanliness and organization are always at the highest standard.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Supervise, train, and motivate the team of stylists and salon staff.

- Conduct staff meetings and ensure effective communication within the team.

- Implement and uphold salon policies, procedures, and customer service standards.

- Foster a positive, collaborative, and creative work environment.

Hairdressing Services:

- Provide a full range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products.

- Deliver exceptional client experiences while maintaining a high standard of work.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, with a strong portfolio and a passion for hair care.

- Prior experience in a management or supervisory role within a salon or similar environment is preferred.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and staff.

- Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday, with flexibility to manage occasional overtime or special events.

- Certification in hairdressing would be advantageous.

- Knowledge of salon software and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
