Payroll Supervisor/ Perth CBD / Permanent Position / $105,000 - $115,000 / Hybrid / Flexible Working / Excellent Benefits

Core Talent are excited to be exclusively assisting an International Engineering Company recruit a skilled Payroll Supervisor on a permanent basis. This innovative business has had continuous growth for the last five years, leading to them doubling in size. Based in luxury offices in the centre of Perth, the Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for the delivery of payroll services to the Group including payroll processing for all staff, external tax lodgement requirements and ad hoc finance projects as required.

The Payroll Supervisor's key duties will include:

• End to end processing of fortnightly payroll for all business units.
• Coordinate with onsite schedulers to ensure payroll rosters are accurate prior to payroll processing.
• Ensuring pay runs are calculated in accordance with relevant awards/Enterprise Agreement rates, allowances, and higher duties changes.
• Management of the payroll inbox and point of contact for all payroll queries and escalation.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll tax lodgement for multiple states including WA/SA/VIC/NSW/QLD/TAS and PAYG compliance and payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate Superannuation compliance and payments.
• Payroll and headcount reporting to business unit accountants monthly.
• Ensuring accurate leave entitlements are being maintained and reported
• Assisting with workers compensation declarations and claim processing.
• Preparation of other entitlement payments and support.
• Support the finance month end process through posting payroll journals and the provision of accurate month end reports.
• Provide accounting and administrative support to finance.
• Support human resources with relevant administration; and
• Ad Hoc projects as required.
• Management and oversight of Senior Payroll Officer.

Key skills / experience required:

• Experience in End-to-End Payroll Processing
• Experience with Payroll Tax legislation for differing states i.e., WA/SA/VIC/NSW/QLD/TAS
• Experience with various work rosters
• Basic Bookkeeping experience
• Confident with systems including excel
