Due to substantial growth, we have a number of exciting opportunities for Mental Health Workers to join our friendly and supportive team across South-Western Sydney & the Eastern Suburbs.

About the Opportunity

As a Mental Health Worker, you will be required to work within accommodation & community services supporting participants with lived experience including mental health and / or mild intellectual disabilities. You will provide individual support through individual recovery plans that promote emotional well-being & goal achievements. Shifts available include weekday, evening, weekends & sleepovers.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting participants with daily living activities

• Complete individual assessments

• Develop Individual Recovery Plans

• Supporting participants social activities

• Annual Health Assessments

• Community access

Essential Criteria

• Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health or Disability Services
• Minimum 2 years experience working in the mental health field
• Understanding of the challenges people with a lived experience and / or mental health issue encounter
• Strong commitment to recovery-based practice
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation Modules Certificates
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
