MDH Transport is a Bulk Haulage company that has been operating in the civil/mining and agricultural sectors of Western Australia for the past 14 years. We have experienced rapid growth over the past 12 months and are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor based from our depot in Karratha to join our team. We currently have multiple projects throughout the Pilbara, between Karratha, Port Hedland, Tom Price and Newman with approximately 30x of our own double and triple roadtrains operating, watercarts, plus subcontractors.

The Role - The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading, overseeing and coordinating operators and assets to deliver quality service to our clients
• Coordinating maintenance schedules with our mechanics and external providers to minimise downtime and optimise performance of the fleet.
• Working closely with the Company’s Managing Director and project administrators to ensure operations are completed smoothly and to the highest standard, ensuring continued business growth.
• Provide support to operations to ensure all tasks and paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
• Ensuring daily operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

To Be Successful:

• 2+ Years working in a similar role within the Transport/Haulage Industry
• Previous experience successfully leading a team and managing multiple projects
• Have excellent communication skills and an ability to create and maintain relationships with personnel through all levels of business
• Hold a current and valid MC Drivers License
• Basic computer knowledge (word, excel, internet etc)
• Ability to pass pre employment medical
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Must have full Australian Working Rights

The role will residential in Karratha – relocation/provision of a house can be discussed.
