Role Overview

The Career Coach works with the Program Manager to implement Baringa’s government funded career pathways program.

This includes leading a program stream as the key contact to tertiary/training organisations and building relationships with early childhood education employers to foster positive environments for supporting career pathways.

The Career Coach supports program participants to:

  • balance work, study, life commitments and their own wellbeing
  • develop their own goals, identify any challenges, and be empowered to embrace their career
  • build confidence in forming relationships with their employer, team of educators, and their teachers

Other responsibilities include assisting in workforce development through stakeholder management, liaison and communications with the early childhood education sector, supporting projects, workshops, reporting and evaluation.

  • You have Diploma or Bachelor Qualifications and experience in education, psychology, social work or community development, and/or ability to demonstrate skills transferable to the responsibilities required in this role.
