Our Client:
Our client is one of the leading food manufacturers and suppliers of fresh poultry. They are seeking to employ highly skilled meat packers and poultry hanger to join their team.

1. Meat Packer (Day - 8.30am to 4.30pm $30.51/hr + Super Mon – Fri)

Duties:

• Pack processed chicken meat (e.g., chicken breasts, thighs, wings, or whole chickens) into boxes, trays, or bags, depending on product specifications.
• Sorting and grading whole birds and parts.
• Transporting poultry, ingredients, and materials within and between work areas.
• Loading and unloading cartons and crates onto and from pallets and conveyors.
• Trimming and de-boning poultry for various cuts.
• Operating, adjusting, monitoring, and loading poultry onto processing machinery and conveyors.
• Ensuring quality control by monitoring and verifying key points.
• Further processing poultry by preparing additional ingredients and using various value-adding equipment and techniques.
• Adhering to high standards of food safety, quality, and animal welfare.

2. Poultry Hanger/Chiller work

(Day - 7:30AM - 1:30PM - $30.96/hr + Super | 30hours/week)

(Night - 11:30PM - 5:30AM - $37.28/hr +Super | 30 hours/week)

Duties:

• Hanging of live or processed poultry on production lines at various stages of processing, ensuring they are secured properly for further processing.
• Inspect poultry for quality and alert supervisors if there are any issues (e.g., defects or contamination).
• Manual handling of 2-5kg each bird
• 13-15 chickens to hang per minute.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a MEAT INDUSTRY and a cold environment.
• Own reliable transport
• Has full working rights.
• Physically fit to do manual handling duties.
