Join a leading Insurance brand and play a critical role in strengthening the organisation’s Business Continuity & Resilience framework.

As a Business Continuity Analyst, you will support the team in strengthening Business Continuity Management (BCM) practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with senior team members to implement and manage BCM strategies, assist with risk oversight, and help embed best practices across the organisation. Client is implementing a new BCM solution so any prior BCM systems experience would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support BCM Implementation: Assist in implementing the Business Continuity Management framework across the business, aligned with APRA’s CPS230.
• Assist with Critical Operations Governance: Help in monitoring and managing critical operations and ensure BCM processes are followed effectively.
• Provide Risk & Compliance Assistance: Support the team in performing Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) testing and enhancements.
• Contribute to Training & Awareness: Help develop training materials and assist with workshops to improve BCM awareness within the organization.
• Support Risk & Control Remediation: Assist in identifying gaps and escalating issues in resilience planning, risk assessments, and controls.

About You:

• 2-4 years of experience in Business Continuity, Risk Management, or Operational Resilience
• An understanding of APRA’s CPS230 regulations or a keen interest in learning more about them
• Basic knowledge of Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Business Impact Assessments (BIA), and risk management principles
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a focus on teamwork
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic, regulatory-driven environment
