What is the role?

This role joins a team who are at the forefront of technology issues, providing high quality support to our clients 24/7/365. The team support new software releases, maintain existing systems and provide client users necessary instruction and assistance with proprietary software, to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide software support in-house.
• Develop and modify existing software modules and libraries.
• Debugging of systems which may include networks.
• Building servers with applications and other services.

Who are we seeking?

Data Processors are seeking applications from talented and passionate software developers who would like to join our current team developing, maintaining and supporting our customised in-house software and associated web solutions.

In depth training will be provided on our proprietary software systems.

Candidates must possess all of the following skills to be successful in this role:

• Strong work ethic with an enthusiastic outlook.
• Ability to learn new programming languages quickly.
• Self-motivated and able to work quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good understanding of objected oriented programming concepts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• 2+ years in MySQL or Oracle databases.
• 2+ years C# experience.
• Experience with Windows API environment.
• Networking skill and knowledge.
• Ability to write documentation.
• Ability to write readable source code with documentation.

Desirable skills & experience in:

• Java
• Python
• Linux
• Cassandra
