About the role

We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic culinary team at the Kununurra Country Club Resort. As a CDP, you will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of delicious, high-quality meals for our guests. This is a full-time position based in Kununurra, Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing a variety of dishes to the highest standards, following established recipes and procedures
• Ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining areas
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment in your designated kitchen station
• Collaborating with the Head Chef and other Chefs to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
• Providing guidance and support to kitchen team members, such as Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants
• Complying with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a reputable restaurant or hotel kitchen
• Formal culinary training or a certificate in Commercial Cookery
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment
• A passion for creating and presenting high-quality, visually appealing dishes
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture
