We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, dynamic Tree Maintenance Officer in Preston to join our growing team. We will be actively recruiting for minimum 2 full-time permanent positions

Responsibilities:

• Abiding by all TTC Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Working Method Statements (SWMS).
• Carrying out tree planting and maintenance in accordance with Australian Standard (AS2303-2018 Tree stock for landscape use).
• Driving TTC vehicles in accordance with policies and procedures as required.
• Operating plant and equipment in accordance with TTC policies and procedures, SWMS, manuals, and with due care and attention.
• Performing routine and unplanned maintenance as required.
• Setup site signage, cones, and exclusion zones.
• Various environmental maintenance tasks such as watering, re-mulching, re-staking, fertilizing, weed control, formative pruning, greenwell/stake removal
• Tidying up the job site upon job completion.
• Contributing to team responsibilities, duties, and a cohesive working environment.
• Communicating with clients, employees, and members of the public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Minimizing the impact on surrounding vegetation and wildlife by planning suitable routes in/out of worksites.

Qualifications:

• Current medium or heavy rigid truck driver's license (or willing to obtain)
