We are seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Crew Member to join our dynamic team, contributing to the maintenance of natural spaces that benefit our greater community.

About the Role

In this role, you will be instrumental in:

• Maintaining native vegetation, including remnant and restored landscapes, wetlands, and creek corridors.
• Performing open space maintenance and general care of turf, lawns, advanced trees, and garden beds.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with the right mix of experience, skills, and passion for natural ecosystems. To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent industry experience).
• Be proficient in operating mowers, brush-cutters, and applying herbicides.
• Have experience in plant species identification, planting, maintenance, and weed control.
• Possess a construction induction qualification or be willing to obtain one.
• Demonstrate a positive and confident attitude, with the ability to work independently when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• A current Agricultural Chemical User Permit (ACUP) will be highly regarded.
