This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time appointment/s.

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Team Leaders to join the RPBG Mental division over the next 6 months.

Currently we have 1 permanent vacancy to join our Older Adult Mental Health services in the heart of the city and several upcoming fixed term vacancies across the division.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary and leadership team, you will lead and inspire staff to deliver exceptional care to community consumers. You will oversee clinical operations, provide supervision, and ensure the highest standards of care are met. Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2025.

Position Profile: Royal Perth Hospital is seeking a suitably experienced and skilled individual to lead the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team.

In this role you will:

  • Be accountable for the standard of care and for the coordination of nursing and multidisciplinary services provided to clients;
  • Ensure patient-centred care and evidence-based service delivery through collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders; and
  • Lead, direct and manage resource allocation within the Older Adult Community Mental Health Teams; in accordance with EMHS policies, objectives and goals.

Area Profile: Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) is Perth’s inner city, tertiary adult hospital and part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. Home to the State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level emergency medicine, mental health, complex and elective surgical care, and specialist medical services. It is also a premier teaching hospital and contributes to innovation and excellence in medical research and patient care.
